I volunteered with Proyecto Asís in the early 2010s as an undergraduate student. The experience changed my world view and shaped my love for animal and human behavior. The region is stunning, and the wildlife is something many only see in museums or in documentaries. We are in the heart of the rainforest, hiking volcanos, eating fruits and plants we pick alongside a naturalist, and volunteering in some of the most remote sites in Costa Rica. Life changing work will happen, and you won't be the same when you return.
Students are required to sign up for six hours of credit. The registrar will enroll you in courses for your program, including one class from each of the program's faculty.
